The Master specialisation Accounting and Control prepares you in the best possible way for a position as a business controller.
From Accounting Process Management and Accounting Business Ethics to Advanced Behavioural Finance and Management Control, the courses, electives and seminars in this application-based programme cover all topics essential to a successful career in controlling.
The core courses help you to get acquainted with a wide range of topics that are essential for accounting and control, and provide a solid background for attending the subsequent seminars. These will deepen your knowledge and enable you to apply it. You will be expected to write and present several papers, present aspects of the literature or case applications, ask questions, mention doubts and express ideas in class discussions.
Depending on the courses you chose during your bachelor, this programme can provide access to an Executive Master of Finance and Control programme that leads to the qualification of Certified Controller (in Dutch: Register Controller (RC).
After graduation:
The master's specialisation Accounting and Control meets the growing demand for academically trained staff in the controlling field. Not just at management consulting firms or industrial companies, but also in banking and insurance as well as ICT, high-tech, manufacturing and trading companies.

The interactive Accounting and Auditing programme prepares you for playing a pivotal role in the accounting, auditing or assurance branch.
This programme covers all theoretical and practical aspects of collecting, categorising, summarising, analysing and using financial data in organisations.
The core courses help you to get acquainted with a wide range of topics that are essential for accounting, auditing and control, and provide a solid background for attending the subsequent seminars. These will deepen your knowledge and enable you to apply it. You will be expected to write and present several papers, present aspects of the literature or case applications, ask questions, mention doubts and express ideas in class discussions.
The master Accounting and Auditing is also your path to access the post-graduate programme that enables you to become a 'Chartered Accountant', in Dutch: 'Registeraccountant'.
After graduation:
Whether you want to become a Chartered accountant (RA/CPA), internal auditor, management consultant or financial economic expert, you can work in a multitude of organisations. These range from auditing firms to large industrial companies and from ICT firms to financial institutions.
