As a Master of Science, specialised in smart systems, you will move way beyond the point of merely generating data, actually being able to understand, analyse and implement these data in real time. Affinity for mathematics and computing, demonstrated by a transcript of the degree and/or by the CV and/or by a convincing motivation letter. A minor/major in Electronics or Embedded systems or knowledge of Digital Signal Processing will significantly contribute to the ease of study.

The Master Smart Systems Engineering is an international programme; therefore, students are expected to have excellent English language skills. The English proficiency level should be proven with an IELTS score with a minimal score of 6.5, with no sub-score below 6.0/TOEFL ibt score of 90/ or equivalents in Cambridge ESOL/TOEIC.

vooropleiding

  • Direct admittance for students with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sensor Technology or Technical IT from an university in the Netherlands, another European Union member state/non-EU university or equivalent educational programme with sufficient similar content (will be assessed based on the detailed grade list).
  • In some cases, students might be required to do a special bridging programme, before they can be admitted.
