'We make new students comfortable at Stenden'

'IHM has great diversity in cultures. I'm from Bulgaria. Study in a new environment can be hard. As 'host office coordiantor' I make new students the way at this university. So that everyone feels comfortable at Stenden.'

'I'm from Bulgaria and actually wanted to study in Germany. But I decided to go to Leeuwarden when it turned out that at Stenden University I could start my study in winter, in February. It was a good choice. IHM has great diversity in cultures and is a study with an international focus. Students give their opinions and discuss with each other all the time...
Besides, this study offers a lot of opportunities. Often we work on praktical cases in teams. We also have company presentations regularly. All of this prepares very well for the future.'

To start a study in a complete new environment can be hard. Besids my study I work parttime as a 'host office coordinator' at Stenden. I show new students the way at this university, contribute to the organisation of the Open Days and do a lot more. So that each student feels comfortable at Stenden University.'
