  • Actuarial sciences
  • Econometrics
  • Mathematical economics
  • Operations research
  • Data science

objectives

Specialisation: Actuarial Science

Most graduates of this track go on to become qualified actuaries. There is a huge demand in this industry. You can also apply for many roles in banking or insurance that require a similar skillset. Econometricians acquire techniques in investigating large sets of data, which can be used in many industries.

Specialisation: Econometrics

There is a huge shortage of econometricians in today’s complex economic environment. Industries, banks, insurance agencies, governmental and commercial organisations are just a few examples of the kinds of organisations that need people like you.

Specialisation: Mathematical Economics

Do you want to become a leading financial analyst or a top manager? A qualification in Mathematical Economics gives you the potential to do just that. The skills you will acquire include the ability to analyse problems quickly and assess them accurately.

Specialisation: Operations Research

Having completed the track in Operations Research, you will be well suited for a technical role, making decisions, giving advice and providing support to management teams. Later, you will be well qualified to make those decisions as a top manager yourself.
