						In a continuously globalising world economy, multinational companies play an increasingly important role. The Master's programme in Corporate Finance and Control provides you with the latest theory and research, focusing on all the important scientific and practical aspects that deal with the financial management and governance of modern firms. Topics include international financial accounting and reporting, corporate finance, firm valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management in an international environment. Students deal with practical business cases as well as the latest academic developments in the field.

Graduates of Corporate Finance and Control are well equipped for careers as corporate financial manager, financial controller, or business consultant in multinational companies as well as small and medium sized enterprises.

The Master's in Corporate Finance and Control is a specialisation of the Master's programme in Economics.

opbouwAccounting and Control is a specialisation of the one-year Master's programme in Economics, with a total course load of 60 EC. All courses are 6 EC and the Master's thesis is 18 EC. Internships are not a standard part of the curriculum, but we heartily support any student who wishes to do the extra work and undergo an internship.

We make sure that our Economics students have a strong background in both theory and practical real-world approaches. Within this specialisation of Economics, you will get a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art corporate finance integrated with modern institutional and behavioural insights. In the second semester students will also start their Master's thesis.

In order to get admission to this Master's you will need a completed academic Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related discipline.

A IELTS score of ≥6.5, with subscores not lower than 6.0
