Science Education and Communication

During this two-year, Dutch-taught Master’s programme you specialize as a teacher in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science or design (O&O). You learn to effectively use your passion for science and technology to help individual students, classes and schools. Throughout this small-scale programme we place a strong emphasis on your personal development. You also benefit from our excellent expertise and facilities as a leading technical university and gain a lot of practical experience. You become a valuable teacher and colleague as well as a creative professional, responding to what students need and what society requires of them with expertise, commitment and an innovative approach. After completing the programme you receive a Master’s diploma and a first-degree teaching qualification, which allows you to work anywhere in Dutch secondary education. Given the demand for academically trained teachers, most of our graduates quickly find jobs. You can also work outside the classroom, for example, as a researcher, education designer or education professional. Other options within your field of science are also open to you.
