Then don't wait too long and go for the bachelor's programme in Animal Sciences. From a scientific point of view you will study about domesticated animals that are closely connected to humans. Think of animals as food, as companions, in sports, in waste management, in nature conservation, in education or in recreation, for example. During the study you will learn about their biology, how they live together with us and you will look at how this can be done better, more sustainably and more responsibly. You learn to think solution-oriented and develop methods to optimally care for and manage animals. Since 2018, the programme is taught fully in English.

Beroepsperspectief / arbeidsmarkt

As a BSc graduate you can choose to start working after the bachelor's Animal Sciences, however, this rarely happens. Employers in the sector are often looking for graduates who have completed a master's programme. A master programme is therefore the most logical next step after the bachelor's programme. Most students proceed their studies in the master's Animal Sciences.
