Studenten aan het woord

Bhavya Jain
Delft University of Technology
Hi I am Bhavya Jain from India. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Cloud Computing and Virtualization (in academic collaboration with IBM) from UPES, India. I have worked in 2 different companies in 3 different job profiles. I decided to pursue with a Masters after working for 2 years, with a focus on not just developing technology and technical products and services, but also on how to take them to the market. In search for such a program, I found EIT Digital Master School...
TU Delft offers a diverse set of courses to cover the concept of Distributed Systems and also offers a course in Blockchain, which is my key interest area. TU Berlin offers a specialization in Cloud and Data Analytics. These courses combined with a minor in entrepreneurship are the factors making it a unique program and therefore my preferred Masters education. I have taken many courses, but my favorite is Blockchain technology as it has a high focus on practical knowledge and implementation of Blockchain technology. I would say this program is best suited for anyone who wishes to understand a domain in computer science to the core, and at the same time, know how to go from invention to innovation. I am planning to start my own company within few years after graduating, and I now feel I have the required confidence and support to do so.

Robert Carosi
Delft University of Technology
My name is Robert Carosi, I am half Dutch half Italian but I grew up in the Netherlands. I did my bachelor in Computer Science at TU Delft, with an exchange semester at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. I chose the master programme EIT Digital because it provides an interesting combination of technology and business. The first year of the programme is in Delft and my second year will be in Stockholm. I deliberately chose TU Delft for my entry year because the university has excellent courses in areas I was interested in (Cloud Computing)...
They brought in seasoned professionals from the industry to share their stories and lessons with us. This was very inspirational and educational. The goal was to build a (fictional) start-up from scratch, covering all the important areas of the process. I am very happy with my choice for this master programme, because I can study at two different universities and get a double degree. Moreover, there are plenty of extracurricular activities organized by the master school, in partnership with other universities in Europe. At TU Delft, I very much enjoy the international atmosphere; sharing stories with people from all over the world. In the future, I would love to start my own company together with other motivated students, or work for a large company that impacts the world. The primary goal is to use my knowledge to help as many people as possible. Robert Carosi

Delft University of Technology
Born in Bangladesh, grown up in Italy, living in the Netherlands. Different continents, different backgrounds, but always with the same passion for health innovation and technology. This is why, as soon as I got my BSc in Trento (Italy), I enrolled to EIT Digital Master School to make the most out of my life. As the program strongly focuses on mobility, I spent my first year in Stockholm (Sweden), I completed my Summer School in Lisbon and then, when I was wondering if I could have been surprised anymore, TU Delft left me breathless...
The people, including course responsible and assistants, motivated me to contribute in creating a better version of this world. The success factors of EIT programme is the combination of research and entrepreneurial mindset. And TU Delft is the perfect natural place where this arrangement can be achieved because the courses of my Medical Visualization track are not only oriented on technical knowledge acquisition, but also on literature research and practical real-world applications. I learned both how to write a scientific paper and to design amazing products, for example a GUI for Coronary Artery Visualization, a dancing NAO robot, recognize handwritten digits etc. Last but not least, I also got an internship related to my thesis project in one of the TUD industrial partner, and I am really excited about it as it could boost my career.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India. I applied to the EIT Digital Master's program in Digital Media Technology and got accepted into it. I was really excited because it provided the possibility of studying in two different universities. More than just studying in two universities, what really got me interested was that a part of the entire Master's program is focused on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During my first year in Delft, I had the opportunity to study with a lot of students from diverse backgrounds...
Delft is a beautiful student city and there is much to do apart from the course work. The Masters kick-off and the winter school in Eindhoven that one gets to attend, being a part of EIT, are extremely good. We worked on business cases for some startups, along with students from TU Eindhoven during the winter school. I am sure no other Master program would have given me the same level of exposure as this one has. A student, who is passionate about Technology and Entrepreneurship, needs to look no further if he or she gets admitted into this program. I am looking forward to my summer school at Budapest and then heading off to Sweden for my second year at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Vivek Subramanian (India)
