Various research lines are explored at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht), Utrecht University, and Eindhoven University of Technology. In Utrecht, RM is a major focus in virtually all research disciplines, including cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems, paediatrics, organ failure (e.g. gut, liver, kidney), and stem cells. For example, at the Department of Orthopaedics, the regeneration of cartilage and bone is studied at the cellular and tissue level.
The student creates his or her own Master's programme of 120 ECTS credits. The components of the programme can be followed in any given order, except for the obligatory course. Other components are:
Obligatory Introductory Course (15 ECTS credits), Elective Courses (12 ECTS credits), Minor Research Project (33 ECTS credits), Master's Thesis (7.5 ECTS credits), Major Research Project (51 ECTS credits) and Seminars (1.5 ECTS credits).bron: Universiteit Utrecht
