In the European Governance programme, you will:
- Obtain two Master's degrees from highly reputed universities.
- Become a trained professional with the skills to apply theory to real-life challenges.
- Analyse issues of European governance from different angles, involving economics, law, and public administration.
- Study in two different cities and countries, where you will have a unique opportunity to see various levels of government at work in two different contexts.
- Write a final thesis and do an internship within an organisation that deals with issues of European governance.

The Master in European Governance is a unique double-degree programme offered in partnership with Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), the University of Konstanz (Germany) and University College Dublin (Ireland). You will study and live in two different European locations. You will write a final thesis and do an internship within an organisation that deals with issues of European governance. The Master in European Governance prepares you for a career as an academic professional. It does so by:
- giving you the analytical tools needed to analyse real-life issues of European governance
- teaching you how to apply theoretical notions and insights to case studies in European governance
- challenging you to go beyond analysis and to formulate recommendations and solutions
- training you in presenting your analysis and recommendations in writing and orally
- sensitising you to cultural and institutional differences within Europe by studying in two different countries and by working within a multinational student group
- giving you first-hand experience of working within an organisation that deals with issues of European governance through your research internship.
